Expo Dubai - NZ Pavilion

I had the opportunity to work alongside the team at Assembly to design and animate content for New Zealand’s virtual experience at the Dubai Expo. Centered around the theme of caring for people and place, the film celebrates everything from Aotearoa’s diverse culture to regenerative farming, all told through the lens of the Whanganui River.

The installation featured a massive wrap-around projection inside the pavilion—65 meters long and over 6 meters high, roughly the equivalent of three IMAX screens stitched together. Running on a continuous 7-minute loop, it was an exciting challenge and a refreshing change of pace to work on a piece at such a large scale.
